Air Wars

‘Air Wars’ immerses the player into the dystopia of the year 2040. In this future era, clean air is scarce and costly due to years of unregulated corporate manufacturing. The corporate members of society live lavishly and unburdened by the crisis they’ve created, while the poor live unhealthy and disparaged lives, constantly searching for clean air. Between them lies the scientists— a group whose sole focus lies in searching for an equitable end to the crisis. The player will find themselves face-to-face with each group, inciting various moral dilemmas and acts of selfishness or selflessness. Our idea explores the topic of immediate gratification vs. sacrifice for the greater good, and how short-term selfishness may lead to long-term suffering and a further onslaught of moral crises.
